SAFETY FIRST: ANTI-COVID MATERIALS AND GUIDELINES
WSBSPORT is a Company specialized in planning and construction of 5-a-side and small-sided soccer centres. In these challenging times, facilities are re-opening after the Covid-19 lockdown. We have prepared a mitigation plan and advised many of our clients on materials and implementations necessary to make facilities safe for club members.
In the US, we have advised or supplied 11 developers and many others have contacted us to prepare their clubs. Despite the economic downturn due to the health emergency, many clubs want to reopen safely. WSB has followed guidelines from the Health Departments in Italy and France, to create a simple plan to help facility managers ensure the correct procedure and communicate clearly.
Let’s have a look at those 3 steps:
1) SCREENING AND CLEANING
Temperature is checked at the entrance, Gel is provided so people can sanitize their hands, clothes are sanitized
2) PHASING FIELDS USAGE
Bookings are done online at least 1h in advance.
Matches start every quarter of an hour instead of ALL at the same time.
3) VISIBLE SANITISING APPLIANCES
Appliances must be indicated to reassure the clients.
Pay attention specifically to the UV STANDS. They work during nighttime so that in the morning your turf is perfectly sanitised
NONE OF THESE SOLUTIONS IS EXPENSIVE AND ALL CAN BE EASILY REMOVED AFTER THE CRISIS.
